TIFFIN, OH - Elmhurst University Women's Wrestling Competed at the NCAA Women's Region IV Championships, where Valentina Fantoni at 117 pounds led the Bluejays in placements going 2-3 on the weekend.
Fantoni started out slow, but came back in the consolation rounds, where she won by decision 12-3. Looking forward she went on to win by a technical fall in her 3rd consolation round at 2:17 going 13-2. She then rounded out her weekend by competing in the 5th-place match, dropping the contest by technical fall and earning a team-high seven and half points.
Juliana Lefort (2–2) adding five points at 180 pounds. Following a first-round loss, Lefort recorded back-to-back falls in the consolation rounds, pinning her opponents in 0:56 and 2:11, before dropping her final match of the weekend
At 145 pounds, Grace Johnson (2–2) contributed three points. After falling in the championship round, Johnson responded with a fall and a 10–2 decision against a separate opponent in the consolation bracket before being eliminated.
The Bluejays have officially rounded out their 2025-2026 season placing 13th out of 18 at the NCAA Regional.
