ELMHURST, Ill. – The Elmhurst University women's volleyball team split a pair of matches at its own triangular on Saturday inside R.A. Faganel Hall.
The Blue and White took down Marian University in straight sets, before falling to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in a tightly contested five-setter.

- Elmhurst fell behind early in the opening set (8-1), but the Bluejays rallied to break the final tie at 21-21 with a block by Maggie Cross and Isabella Mendell. The Blue and White took a 1-0 lead in the match with a 25-21 set one win.
- The Bluejays built an early 3-0 lead, but Marian fought back to tie the set at 8-8. Elmhurst regained control with a five-point run to take a 13-8 advantage. The Blue and White maintained its advantage for the remainder of the set, taking the second frame by a score of 25-21.

- Elmhurst and UW-Stevens Point battled through a back-and-forth opening set, with the Bluejays building a 23-17 advantage before the Pointers rallied to force extra points. The teams continued trading points, but the visitors eventually claimed the opening frame, 34-32.
- The Bluejays responded in the second set, jumping out to a 4-0 lead and extending the advantage to 10-3. UW-Stevens Point cut the deficit to two points at 17-15, but Elmhurst regained its momentum and closed out the set with a 25-20 victory to even the match.
- The Blue and White took a 2-1 lead in the match with a 25-22 set three win. After the Pointers rallied to tie the set at 14-14, the teams remained close throughout the remainder of the frame. Trailing 21-19, the Bluejays fought back to tie the score at 21-21 before a service ace from Freddie Temple and a kill by Katie Hurta helped seal the victory.
- The Bluejays built an early 7-3 lead in the fourth set, but UW-Stevens Point worked its way back to take control. Elmhurst held a 17-16 advantage before the Pointers scored five consecutive points to pull ahead 21-17. UW-Stevens Point maintained its lead to win the set, 25-21, and force a decisive fifth frame.
- Elmhurst held a 12-10 lead in the fifth set, but the visitors rallied to take a 14-12 advantage. The Bluejays fought back to tie the score at 14-14, but the Pointers scored the final two points to claim the set, 16-14, and the match, 3-2.
