KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Elmhurst University women's soccer team has been recognized for its excellence in the classroom, earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2024-25 academic year.

The Bluejays, under the direction of Susie McCreery Foster, posted an impressive 3.60 team grade point average to secure the honor. Elmhurst was among 425 women's programs across the nation to achieve a team GPA of 3.0 or higher, meeting the standard for the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award.

In total, 721 soccer programs earned the distinction, including 296 men's teams and 425 women's teams. Of those, 161 institutions were recognized for having both their men's and women's programs earn the award.
