ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst University men's basketball team has earned the prestigious NABC Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2024–25 academic year. In addition, Bluejay student-athletes Dominic Trelenberg, Dylan Engler, John Witcher, and Robert Roszkiewicz were named to the NABC Honors Court, recognizing their individual academic achievement.

Presented annually by the National Association of Basketball Coaches, the Team Academic Excellence Award is given to programs across all levels of college basketball that maintain a team GPA of 3.0 or higher over the course of the academic year. Elmhurst's recognition places the Bluejays among nearly 400 collegiate programs nationwide that demonstrated consistent classroom success.

The NABC Honors Court recognizes junior, senior, and graduate student-athletes who posted a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher during the year. Trelenberg, Engler, Witcher, and Roszkiewicz all met the high standard required for selection, balancing the demands of intercollegiate athletics with academic excellence.
