NAPERVILLE, Ill. -Â The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin announced the list for the Spring 2025 Academic All-Conference honorees Friday afternoon.
110Â Bluejay student-athletes were named Dave Wrath Academic All-Conference honorees. The award, named after the CCIW's Sports Information Director from 1996-2005 who helped develop the conference's academic all-conference program during his tenure, honors all student-athletes with above a 3.30 grade point average and who have studied two full-time terms at their institution.Â
Eli Spence of men's lacrosse and
Esther Brown of Women's Track and Field were named the recipients of the Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference award, given to the most exemplary male and female student-athlete from their respective seasons.
The Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference award is given to one male and one female representative from each of the three sport seasons, and who have earned above a 3.50 grade point average and studied two full-time terms at their institution. The award is named after the former Wheaton College tennis coach, athletics director, and CCIW commissioner until 1997.
