ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst University men's tennis team fell, 0-7, to Cornell College on Friday afternoon at the Lester Brune Tennis Courts.

The Rams improved to 14-7 overall with the sweep, while the Bluejays dropped to 1-4.

Cornell set the tone early in doubles play, with the No. 1 duo of Trent Devore and Mills Arnold cruising to a 6-0 win over Charalampos Vasilopoulos and Adrian Songco. At No. 2 doubles, Sam Cumicek and August Krahn delivered an equally decisive 6-1 victory against Pranit Shah and Roberto Koziol. The Rams were awarded a win at No. 3 doubles by forfeit, giving them the doubles point.

The dominance continued in singles competition, where Cornell didn't drop a single set. Devore led the way with a 6-0, 6-0 performance at No. 1 singles, while Arnold mirrored that effort with his own double bagel at No. 4. Zachary Ong earned a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 2, and Drew Campbell took down Shah at No. 3 with a 6-1, 6-1 decision. The Rams closed out the sweep with two more wins via forfeit at No. 5 and No. 6 singles.
