11/14/2025 4:00:00 PM

ELMHURST, Ill. – Elmhurst University is proud to announce that four student-athletes and one athletics administrator have been selected to represent the Bluejays at the upcoming NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum, one of the NCAA's premier leadership development programs.

Men's soccer student-athletes Caden Sultzbaugh (SR) and Isaac Puchalla (JR), along with women's soccer student-athletes Kelli Coughlin (JR) and Courtney Conlon (JR), will attend the national event, with Shawna Armstrong, Assistant Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator at Elmhurst University being selected as an administrator attendee and participant.

The NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum brings together student-athletes, coaches, and administrators from across all three NCAA divisions to engage in leadership training, explore personal and professional development, and learn how to positively impact their campus and communities.

"This is a tremendous opportunity for our student-athletes to grow as leaders and to represent Elmhurst University at the national level," said Armstrong. "The forum provides an invaluable platform for collaboration, reflection, and developing the skills needed to enhance the student-athlete experience both here at Elmhurst and beyond."

Through workshops, keynote sessions, and small group discussions, participants will learn about effective communication, team building, and the role of student-athlete leaders in shaping the future of intercollegiate athletics.
Elmhurst University's participation in the forum underscores the institution's ongoing commitment to leadership development, student success, and the holistic growth of its student-athletes.
