ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst University women's soccer team hosted Lawrence University on Friday night at Langhorst field. 

The Bluejays (1-1-2), lone goal was scored by Lauren Nevins in the 43', who has now scored in four straight games, and was assisted by Natalie Workman.

The Vikings (2-1), goals were scored by the paring of Erica Grube 4' and Kylie Melonis 64', and assisted by Ava Elders and Natalie Linebarger. 

The Vikings started the game off quick with a goal coming in the 4' minute by Grube. The Vikings would go on to control most of the first half with the Bluejays making short yet quick counter attacks. Lawrence had six shots in the first half compared to the five shots from Elmhurst.  In the second half the Bluejays would be the ones starting quickly as they scored off of a Nevins goal in the 43' minute from their the game almost switched as it seemed the Bluejays had the better of the Vikings when it came to possession, The Vikings would end up scoring from a goal by Melonis in the 64' minute and would help carry th Vikings to a 2-1 win over the Bluejays,
