REDLANDS, Ca. - The Elmhurst Univeristy women's soccer team traveled to University of Redlands for their second and final match in California.
The Bluejays (3-4-2), were led by
Lauren Nevins who had three shots, one on goal and the goalkeeper tandem of
Erin Fitzharris and
Megan Kleve. Fitzharris would make eight saves on the day while Kleve would make three.
The Bulldogs (4-2-1), had three different goal scores, Natalie Turiace 9', Jaiden Riodil 53', and Anika Schmied 56'.
It was a very offensive match with 32 total shots on the game, 21 coming from the Bulldogs and 11 from the Jays. Redlands' Turiace would bury the game winning goal only nine minutes into the match while Riodil and Schmied would both add insurance goals in the beginning of the second half to ensure a 3-0 win.

The Bluejays will be in action next time at home on Tuesday Sep. 24th as they host The University of Olivet at 5:00 pm CT.
