ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst University women's tennis team fell, 1-6, to Ripon College Tuesday afternoon at Lester Brune Tennis Courts.
Elmhurst (0-3) dropped the doubles point to begin the match, but
Anna Sophia Stone got the Jays on the board with a 6-1, 6-1 win on number one singles, representing the lone team point for the Jays.Â
Reese Coon fought in her match at number four singles, but ultimately fell by scores of 6-1, 6-2, while
Chloe Webb nearly forced a third set in her match at number two singles, falling 7-5 to drop her match.

Elmhurst returns to Lester Brune Tennis Courts tomorrow, Sept. 11, hosting Lake Forest College at 4:00 pm.
