The game started a bit slow with both teams trading chances, but the Cardinals would strike first and run with the lea as they would go on a 7-1 run that would take us half way into the second quarter. From that point on it was all Jays, as they would go on to score four goals in the last two and a half minutes of the second quarter to cut the Cardinals lead down to two. It would be a back and fourth affair in the third, as the Jays would score then right behind them was the Cardinals, Hunter Hernandez would tie the game at eight in the last couple minutes of the third. Once again the Cardinals would answer, but Jake Grebe would score the in last 15 seconds of the third and right after him Eli Spence would add another with just seconds left in the third quarter to make it a 10-9 Elmhurst lead. In the fourth it would again be a back and fourth affair with both teams scoring multiple times, but the Jay would come out on top to complete the comeback victory, 13-11.
