DECATUR, Ill. - The Elmhurst University men's tennis team dropped their regular-season finale, 8-1, to Millikin Saturday afternoon on the road.
Elmhurst (1-11, 0-7 CCIW), playing with four student-athletes, was outmatched in doubles play and went down 3-0 after the beginning round of action. In singles, the Jays competed hard, but
Muhammad Salman was the lone Bluejay to take home a victory, taking down Matthew Kordesh of Millikin in straight sets (6=1, 6-1).

Elmhurst will head into next week's CCIW Men's Tennis Tournament as the No. 8 seed, taking on top-seeded North Central in a quarterfinal matchup on Thursday, May 2 at 8:00 a.m. CT at the Jean Kilgour-Trailblazer Tennis Complex in Waukesha, Wis.
