WAUKESHA, Wis. - The Elmhurst University men's tennis team fell to top-seeded North Central, 5-0, in the quarterfinals of the 2024 CCIW Men's Tennis Tournament Thursday morning.
Elmhurst was swept away in doubles play, with two of the three matches being 8-0 wins with the team of
Muhammad Salman and
Emiliano Montenegro-Galarza falling, 8-1. In singles play, the Cardinals (20-3) clinched the match with straight-set wins at No. 6 and No. 3 singles to take the match and advance to the tournament semifinals on Friday.
Elmhurst concludes the 2023-24 season with the loss, sporting a 1-12 overall record and an 0-7 mark in CCIW action.
