Elmhurst Ill. - The Elmhurst men's lacrosse team hosted conference foe Carroll University on Wednesday night.
Bluejays (11-3, 3-1 CCIW), were led by
Hunter Hernandez as he scored five goals and added an assist.
Jake Grebe added a goal and three assists on the night, while
Fischer Son had a four goal night. Brendan Crouse had a goal and two assists,
Gabe Henry,
Ryan Swank, and
Ethan Stepanek all score two goal on the night. Both
Sam Hoff and
Chris Haycock scored a goal and added an assist on the night while
Tony Vazquez added two assist and
Pete Grebe added an assist. Vazquez won 17 of 23 faceoffs on the night.
Pioneers (6-9, 0-4 CCIW), were led by Zachary Szuba as he scored three goals and added an assist.
The Bluejays controlled the pace of play for this one as they would go on to take a 6-1 lead after the first period. In the second, the Jays would add on ten more to make it a 16-2 lead. The Jays would go on to only score a few couple times each of the last two periods and take a win by the score of 20-6.

The Bluejays will be back in action as they will host CCIW for North Cental College on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm.
