Stevens Point Wis. - The Elmhurst women's lacrosse team beat University Wisconsin Stevens Point 8-6 on Wednesday night.
Bluejays (2-4), were led by Grace Eastman as she scored four goals.
Kendall Schieppe added two goals and an assist, while both
MC Brown and
Andrea Murtland both scored a goal.
Savannah Sannes also made 10 saves tonight and got her first win of the season.
Pointers (0-4), were led by Marissa Van Dyke as she scored a hat-trick on the night.
The Pointers would score first on a man-up goal, but the Bluejays would come back and score four straight by Brown, Murtland, and two by Eastman. The Pointers would add one more before the end of the first quarter that would see the Bluejays lead 4-2. The teams would trade goals in the middle of the second with Eastman scoring on a man-up goal, but the Pointers would score juts a few seconds at the end of the half yet the Bluejays would still hold the lead at 5-4.
The Bluejays would go on to score three straight to start of the third with two from Schieppe and one goal from Eastman. That would be all the Bluejays would need as they would go on to win 8-6.

The Bluejays will return to action on Saturday, March 30th as they host College of Saint Benedict at 3:00 pm.
