STEVENS POINT, Wis. - The Elmhurst University women's wrestling team made their program debut on Saturday, November 2 at the UWSP Pointer Open.
In a tough competition with seven of the top-25 teams in the nation attending, the Bluejays had six wrestlers compete in the event.
While no Bluejays advanced through the championship brackets,
Clara Rice recorded the first-ever match win for the Bluejays program in the consolation first round at 160, defeating Maddie Hall of UWSP via a 10-0 tech fall.

Elmhurst will head to the Lakeland Scramble in Plymouth Wis. next Saturday, November 9.
