NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Jacob Cockrell, Taveon Porter, Chris Reaves, and Mayon Lowery received All-CCIW accolades, as announced by the league office Tuesday morning, with Cockrell earning First Team honors and both Porter and Reaves earning Second Team honors. Lowery earned Elmhurst's RESPECT Award.

Cockrell earned First Team All-CCIW honors, the first Bluejay to be named to the top squad in the conference since tight end Garrett Claxon did so in the 2014 season. The junior wide receiver was the Bluejays' leader in the receiving core this season, totaling 35 receptions for 815 yards and nine touchdowns. His 815 yards and 81.5 yards per game ranked fourth in the conference, while the nine receiving touchdowns ranked tied for third. In program history, his yardage this season was second-most in a single season, while his nine receiving touchdowns ranks as the third-most in a single season.

Porter earned Second Team All-CCIW honors, newly joining the Bluejay running back core for the 2024 season, and immediately made an impact on the Elmhurst offense. Porter led the Bluejay rushing attack with 116 rushes for 629 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Porter also added one recieving touchdown on the season, and totaled 1,207 all-purpose yards and a kickoff return for a touchdown as a returner for Elmhurst this season. His 134.1 all-purpose yards per game ranked first in the CCIW, with his all-purpose yardage ranking second in the league.

Reaves earned Second Team All-CCIW, as the senior defensive back enjoyed a strong season as a member of the Bluejay secondary. Reaves totaled 47 tackles (26 solo, 21 assisted) this season, also adding a trio of tackles-for-loss. Reaves had two interceptions on the season, including one returned for a touchdown.

Lowery was Elmhurst's RESPECT Award recipient, recognizing one student-athlete from each CCIW team that have distinguished themselves as an integral member of the team, their institution and community by upholding the values of Responsibility, Enthusiasm, Service, Pride, Excellence, Collaboration and Trust. The RESPECT Award recognizes the intangible traits a student-athlete possesses that exemplify great character and encourages inclusiveness and a positive culture.
