ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst University women's basketball team hosted Mount Mary University on Thursday night for their second game of the season.Â
Bluejays (2-0), won with a full team effort,
Lindsay Novak led the team in points with 14, Kirstin Bukata would score 11 points with a steal, block and assist,
Diellza Dalipi would score 12 while adding eight rebounds, three steals and an assist,
Sierra Gibson would score 12 points while adding four rebounds, two assists and a steal, and
Maia Lewers would be the last Jay on the night to score double digits with 10 points while adding eight rebounds an assist and steal.
Jaikyliah Ravizee would have a night with six points, nine assists, five rebounds with two steals and a block.Â
Blue Angles (2-1), were led by Sanai Ballard as she scored nine points with a steal and a rebound.Â
The Bluejays started the game on a 12-0 run and never looked back. They would out score and dominate the Blue Angles in every quarter as they would end the first half up 46-22. The Second half would tell the same story as they Jays were again able to start the second half on a 7-0 run and were able to run away with this one with the final score being 94-40. The best part of the Bluejays game was their ability to score off of turnovers, as they would score 41 of their 94 off of Blue Angle turnovers. While 13 different Bluejays were able to get on the score sheet with only one playing over 20 minutes on the night.Â

The Bluejays will return to action on Saturday, Nov. 16th as they will host Milwaukee School of Engineering at 7:15 pm ct.Â
