ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst University women's basketball team hosted their third game of the season against Milwaukee School of Engineering on Saturday night.Â
Bluejays (3-0), were led by Kirstin Bukata as she had 16 points, eight rebounds, two assists and a steal.
Cierra Steemer would have another solid performance with seven points and rebounds, added three blocks, two assists and a stealÂ
Raiders (1-2), were led by Lana Kerley as she scored 21 points while adding six rebounds, and Dani Mendez with 17 points and added eight rebounds with an assist and steal.Â
MSOE would lead after the first quarter, up 18-11, where they shot 50% from the field as a team. The Raiders would then add seven more points to their lead by the end second quarter, 35-22. To start the third quarter the Bluejays would go on an 11-2 run to climb back to only trail by five to the Raiders, however, the Raiders would end the third with their own 7-0 run to lead the Bluejays 49-36 at the end of the third quarter. But in the fourth the Bluejays were able to climb back while shooting 54% from the field and 40% from behind the arch, and also with the help of MSOE only making one shot in the fourth quarter, went on a 21-5 run in the fourth to complete an incredible comeback and win 57-54.Â

The Bluejays will go on their first away game of the season at Alverno College on Friday, Nov. 22nd with a 7:00pm CT Tip-off.Â
