ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst University women's soccer team hosted the Illinois Wesleyan Titans on Senior Day Saturday night.
Bluejays (8-7-2, 3-3-0 CCIW), the lone goal for th Bluejays came from
Lauren Nevins in the 90' assisted by
MaiLei Garcia. While goalkeeper
Erin Fitzharris made four saves earning the clean sheet.
Titans (3-9-2, 1-3-1 CCIW), were unable to must any goals on 16 shots.
The first half was slow as Illinois Wesleyan controlled most of the possession with eight shots while the Bluejays would counter attack their way to four shots in the first half. In the second half, the Titans would again control much of the possession of the ball, until the last ten minutes of the half where the Bluejays were able to surge a few scoring chances and Nevins was able to bury a goal in the 90' for a 1-0 victory for the Bluejays.

The Bluejays will return to conference play as they will play at Carthage College on Saturday, Oct. 26th at 1:00pm CT.
