ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst University men's soccer team hosted CCIW foe North Central College on Saturday night.
The Bluejays (5-7-2, 0-4-0 CCIW), were led by
Caden Sultzbaugh with three shots.
The Cardinals (5-3-4, 1-1-1 CCIW), lone goal came from Aiden Maloney in the 53'.
This was a tightly contested match at both teams had many chances. The first half was more of a chess match as both teams were playing in the center of the pitch for most of the half, yet both teams would have a high danger chance late to end the half. In the second, North Central would come put flying and score the only goal in the opening minutes of the second half. The Bluejays would push for a goal in the last 20 minutes of the match but were unabe to find the back of the net leading to a 1-0 Cardinals win.Â
