Elmhurst Ill. - The Elmhurst women's basketball team stuck with Millikin in loss on Saturday afternoon.Â
Bluejays (7-11, 1-8 CCIW),
Lindsay Novak led the way offensively for the Bluejays as she scored 17 points. Other Bluejays scoring in the double-digits were
Nariyah Smith (13),
Payton Schmidt (12), and Kirstin Bukata (11).Â
#17 Big Blue (15-3, 7-2 CCIW), were led by Bailey Coffman as she scored 24 points.Â
The Big Blue and Bluejays traded leads in the first quarter 10 times with the Big Blue closing out the quarter up six. Through the second quarter the Big Blue would up their lead to nine with a score of 42-33. In the third and fourth quarters both teams would continue to trade baskets but the Big Blue would pull through with a final score of 93-80.Â

The Bluejays will return to CCIW action on January 24th as they will host North Park University at 7:00 pm.Â
