Wheaton Ill. - The Elmhurst University Women's Basketball team suffered another conference loss at Wheaton College during their Saturday afternoon meeting on January 13th. 

Bluejays (7-10, 1-7 CCIW), were led by Kristin Bukata as she dropped 15 points along with four rebounds, two assists and two steals. Nariyah Smith also dropped 13 points with eight rebounds, with a steal and assist. 

Thunder (10-6, 3-4 CCIW), were led by Annie Tate as she dropped 39 points with 28 of them coming from the free throw line, she also grabbed 16 rebounds. 

The Bluejays struggled in the first half only putting up 23 points while the Thunder would score 37 points. In the second half the Bluejays would try and catch the Thunder but with both teams not being able to miss a shot in the fourth quarter the Bluejays comeback was halted ending in a 80-69 loss.

The Bluejays will return to CCIW action on January 20th as they will host #11 Millikin University at 2:00 pm.
