GEORGETOWN, Texas. - The Elmhurst University Men's soccer team drew in their second game of the season, 2-2, against Southwestern University Sunday afternoon.
The Bluejays (0-1-1) were led by
Roland Dearborn, who scored a goal assisted by
Ilija Jerinic, and
David Falleiros, who also netted a goal. The Bluejays also recorded shots from Jerinic,
Jack Kaupas, and
Alan Lopez-Paredes.
The Pirates (1-0-1) were led in scoring by both Carr Panetta and Peyton Sullivan, who each netted one goal.
Southwestern opened up the scoring in the first half with a goal at the 13-minute mark, and towards the end of the half the Bluejays threatened with a corner kick in the 44th minute with no success.
Dearborn would open up the scoring for the Bluejays in the second half at the 58-minute mark, but the Pirates would answer back just two minutes later to again take the lead. Down to just the final 15 minutes, Falleiros would find the equalizer and a draw would be the final result to wrap the Bluejays' season-opening road trip.

The Bluejays will be in action next Wednesday, Sep. 6th against Dominican University at Campus Field in River Forest Ill. at 4:00pm.
