LAKE FOREST, Ill. - The Elmhurst University women's soccer team fell, 4-1, in their Wednesday afternoon game at Lake Forest College.
The Bluejays (3-2-1) only goal of the night was by
Kelli Coughlin, who scored her goal via a penalty kick.. Elmhurst also had six shots on the night, three each by Coughlin and
Michelle Cuervo.
The Foresters (2-2-2) scored four goals on the night with four different goal scorers.
The Foresters started quickly with a goal by Hoffman in the 9th minute, followed by Mulachy in the 13th minute, then DeStefano scored in the 27th minute and lastly Covarrubiasin the 40th minute. The Bluejays were able to answer back with a Coughlin penalty kick goal in the 44th minute. Both teams had chances in the second half but no goals were scored.Â
