Eureka Ill. - The Elmhurst University women's soccer team won in convincing fashion, 10-0, at Eureka College on Wednesday night.
The Bluejays (4-2-1) scored 10 goals on the night, including a hat trick by
Gianna Imperatrice, two goals by
Kelli Coughlin, and then one goal by
Olivia Trivedi,
Kirstyn Anderson and
Michelle Cuervo. Two assists came from
Iberia Munoz and one from
Chara Ganta. The Bluejays also tallied 29 shots on the night, six came from Imperatrice, four from
Natalie Workman and three from Anderson, Cuervo. and Ganta. The Bluejays also collected 12 corner kicks on the night with a shutout coming from
Megan Kleve
The Bluejays dominated the game offensively with eight goals in the first half, three of which came within the first seven minutes of the game, with then five more goals being scored in the last 15 minutes of the first half. The Bluejays added two more goals on the night in the second half ending the game in a 10-0 win.
