ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst University women's tennis team advanced to the 2023 CCIW Tournament after downing ninth-seeded Illinois Wesleyan in a 9-0 sweep Saturday morning at Brune Tennis Courts.

Elmhurst (8-7, 1-7 CCIW) cleaned the courts with the Titans, getting off to a good start with a pair of 8-0 sweeps from the teams of Isabella Rahman/June Bering and Silva Barak/Brynn Rubacky, with Jolene Heuhalfan/Julia Kostadinova taking an 8-2 victory at no. 1 doubles. All singles matches were decided in straight sets.

With the victory, the Bluejays advance to next week's CCIW Tournament hosted by North Central College in Naperville, Ill.
