Elmhurst Ill. - The Elmhurst University Women's Basketball Team ended 2023 with a home win over Alverno College at R.A. Faganel Hall on Wednesday night.
Bluejays (6-6, 1-3 CCIW), had four player score double-digits,
Lindsay Novak led the way with 17 points, 15 of which came beyond the arc.
Nariyah Smith added 13 points with seven rebounds,
Tyreshia Sessions and Kirsten Lopez both added 10 points as well.
Inferno (2-7), were led by Riley Spencer who scored 15 points and had six rebounds and four steals.
The Bluejays kept scoring and scoring in this one as they dropped 22 points in the first quarter, 20 in the second, 21 in the third, and 18 in the final quarter. leading to a 81-56 victory.

The Bluejays will return to action on Friday, December 29th as they will host Saint Mary's University (MInn.) at 2:00 pm. at R.A. Faganel Hall.
