ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst University women's soccer team fell, 0-2, to Wheaton College (IL) Saturday afternoon at Langhorst Field.
Elmhurst (4-5-3, 0-3-1 CCIW) was shut out for their third-straight match, totaling just two shots in the contest. Wheaton (3-6-3, 2-1-0 CCIW) found the back of the net twice, with one each from Audrey Sexson and Mia Blair.
Elmhurst goalkeeper
Megan Kleve made eight saves on the day, while
Camila Rubio and
Michelle Cuervo recorded the two shots on the day for the Bluejays.
UP NEXT
The Bluejays continue their homestand next Wednesday, Oct. 11, hosting Augustana College (IL) for a 7:00 p.m. CT kickoff. The game will also serve as the Bluejays' Breast Cancer Awareness game.
