Elmhurst Ill. - The Elmhurst University Women's Soccer team lost a heartbreaking game, 1-0, at home vs. Augustana on Wednesday night at Langhorst Field.
The Bluejays (4-6-3, 0-4-1 CCIW) had six shots on the night with two coming from
Olivia Trivedi, while also having three corner kicks on the night.
The Vikings (10-1-3, 3-0-2 CCIW) got their late game goal from Paige Bingen which was assisted by Jordyn Swanson.
The Bluejays started off strong in the first half of the game having a few scoring chances which included one shot getting cleared off of the goal line by an Augustana defender. In the second half the Bluejays had again a few more opportunities but in the last few minutes of the game the Vikings took control and scored the game winning goal in the 89th minute to end the game 1-0.

The Bluejays will be back in action on Saturday Oct. 14th for their home regular season finale at 1:00pm.
