ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst University women's volleyball team fell to 20th-ranked University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, 0-3, Saturday afternoon in the Elmhurst Invitational finale.
Elmhurst (15-9, 2-5 CCIW) was unable to carry mometum throughout the match, outputting multiple scoring runs, but the Pointers (21-7, 3-3 WIAC) attack was too much for the Bluejays.
The Bluejays found strong performances from
Kali Phillips (10 kills) and
Aly Reardon (nine kills, nine digs), while
Jada Wiley tallied 13 digs in the match. The Pointers were led by 19 kills from Ashley Kopp.
UP NEXT
Elmhurst will head to Naperville next Wednesday evening for a matchup with North Central College at 7:00 p.m. CT in a crucial CCIW matchup with postseason tournament implications for both teams.
