WAUKESHA, Wis. -Â The Elmhurst University football team fell, 14-62, Saturday afternoon at Carroll University.
Elmhurst (1-5, 0-5 CCIW) took an early lead, but allowed 42 unanswered points in the first half and couldn't climb out of the deficit. Elmhurst found both scores from
Jacob Cockrell, who had a career day with eight receptions totaling 174 recieving yards and two touchdowns. Defensivley,
Bryce Gable tallied eight solo tackles, two tackles-for-loss, and a sack in the game, while
Danny French tallied seven tackles to go with 0.5 tackles-for-loss and a pass break up.
Carroll (4-2, 3-2 CCIW) totaled 212 rushing yards compared the Elmhurst's two, while quarterback Josh Raby threw six touchdowns in the home team's victory.
UP NEXT
Elmhurst will return to Langhorst Field next Saturday, Oct. 21 to welcome Millikin University for a 1:00 p.m. CT kickoff. Both teams will be seeking their first conference victories of the season with matching 0-5 conference marks.
