ELMHURST, Ill. – The Elmhurst University women's soccer team suffered a 7-0 loss to the University of Chicago at Langhorst Field.
The Maroons tallied three goals in the first half, two of which came from Hannah Rittenhouse.
Chicago (7-3-0) added four more goals in the second half to secure a decisive victory over the Bluejays.

MaKenzee Velchek and
Aleksia Vranjes combined for 27 saves in the loss, while Sophie Pilarski and Adrienne Chan collected one save to earn the win in goal.
The Bluejays are back in action for Homecoming on Saturday, October 1 at 7:30 p.m. against Carroll University.
