ELMHURST, Ill. – The Elmhurst University women's soccer team dropped a non-conference contest to Lake Forest College, falling 5-0 at Langhorst Field.
The Foresters only led 1-0 at the half after Iman Shepard found the back of the net in the 43
rd minute of play.
Anna Gracia added in a goal of her own in the 50
th minute to give Lake Forest a 2-0 advantage.
Raven Dziedzinski scored a hattrick over eight minutes in the second half to secure a decisive road win for the Foresters.
MaKenzee Velchek tallied 14 saves and
Alexi Littmann chipped in three of her own for the Bluejays in goal. Franca Finch and Joanna Aslanides combined for one save to earn the win for Lake Forest.
Elmhurst opens up CCIW play on Saturday, September 24 against North Central at Langhorst Field at 5:00 p.m.
