Elmhurst University's
Trey Romay has been named to the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's all-conference baseball team. Additionally,
Noah Jordan was named as Elmhurst's RESPECT award winner.
Romay, a senior from Downers Grove, earned his second consecutive first team all-conference honor as an infielder. Romay finished the season hitting a team-leading .368 after starting 33 games for the Bluejays this season. He led the team in hits (43) , runs scored (34), stolen bases (12) and on-base percentage (.490) while ranking second on the squad in home runs (six), RBIs (28) and third in walks (22).
Romay closed out his career with a .345 average with 98 hits in 191 at-bats. He totaled 25 doubles, three triples, 14 home runs, 21 stolen bases and 65 RBIs. He earned third-team ABCA all-region honors in 2021 after hitting a team-leading .333.
Jordan finished the season with a 3-2 record on the mound, tying for the team-lead in victories. He pitched 43.1 innings on the season while fanning a team-high 40 batters. He closed out his career with a seven victories and 95 strikeouts in 100 innings of work.
