KENOSHA, Wis. – The Elmhurst University men's soccer team fell, 4-1, in the quarterfinals of the CCIW tournament to Carthage College at Art Keller Field.
The Firebirds (8-6-5/4-1-3 CCIW) scored in the first eight minutes of the contest when Mickey Reilly found Aidan Crowder who was able to find the back of the net to give Carthage a 1-0 lead.
James Serrano netted the sole Bluejay goal off a pass from
Anthony Bartlett in the 32
nd minute to tie the contest up at one apiece.
Jack Georgi scored back-to-back goals in the 40
th minute and 62
nd minute to extend the Firebirds lead to 3-1.
Carthage's Reilly tallied the final goal in the 69
th minute of play to secure the 4-1 victory and a place in the semifinals of the CCIW tournament.

Noah Reed and
Preston Chartier combined for 10 saves in goal for Elmhurst (7-8-3/3-3-2 CCIW), while Tino Korhonen earned the win with one save.
Elmhurst finishes the 2022 season with a 7-8-3 overall record and a 3-3-2 mark in the CCIW.
