KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Elmhurst University men's soccer team ended its two-game winning streak with a 1-0 loss to Kalamazoo College at MacKenzie Field.

The Hornets got on the board in the 19^th minute of play when Chad Ewing found teammate Jake Lynett who put the ball past Bluejay goalkeeper, Noah Reed, for the 1-0 lead. 

Reed tallied five saves during the match, while Kalamazoo goalkeeper, Gavin Houtkooper earned the shutout and win with seven saves.

Elmhurst returns to Langhorst Field for their next contest on Wednesday, September 22 to take on Alma College.
