CHICAGO, Ill. – The Elmhurst University men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 setback at the University of Chicago.

Chicago (3-2) swept the three doubles matches and all six singles contests on it's way to the victory.

Biren Reddy and Bailey Forgus defeated Elmhurst's No. 1 doubles pairing of
Justin Penados and
Brandon Fulmer 8-2. Â The Bluejays' No. 2 team of
Florin Stan and
Ben Cavka came up just short in an 8-7 loss to Chicago's Alex Guzhva and Alejandro Rodriguez. Chicago's Marek Michulka and Ethan King stopped
Shawn Sabaricos and
Tavious Imperial 8-1 at No. 3 doubles.

In singles competition, Michulka toppled Penados 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 while Guzhva followed with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 2. Rodriguez upended Sabaricos 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 while
Brandon Fulmer fell 6-1, 6-2 to Chicago' Reddy at No. 4. Fogus defeated Cavka 6-2, 6-2 at No. 5 while King downed Imperial 6-1, 6-2 at No. 6.
