ELMHURST, Ill. – Elmhurst University, in accordance with the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, has announced its spectator policy for spring athletic contests during the spring 2021 season.

Elmhurst is excited to be able to welcome fans back on a limited basis in accordance with strict health and safety guidelines from the CCIW, State of Illinois and DuPage County. The below policy goes into effect on March 13, 2021. To read the entire policy, click here.
General guidance of the policy as is follows:
- Elmhurst student-athletes are limited to four (guests) at each home athletic contest for guests who are legally or emotionally related to them. This applies to HOME events only and not road contests. Guests are required to be placed on a preapproved pass list and photo ID will be required to enter.
- Spectators from visiting teams are not permitted.
- After student-athlete guests have been admitted, and if limited capacity at the venue allows for it, Elmhurst students, staff and faculty will be admitted on a first-come first-serve basis. A current Jaypass must be shown to enter.Â
- Guests are required to wear a mask or face covering that covers the nose and mouth at all times, regardless of the facility.
- Guests are expected to observe social distancing at all events and remain out of restricted areas, which includes a distance of at least 12 feet from bench areas, dugouts, bullpens and warm-up areas.
- Guests are permitted to lift their mask, not remove, to drink a beverage.
- Eating food and tailgating is strictly prohibited.
- Guests must depart the facility at the conclusion of the contest and may not interact with student-athletes at the facility.
- Failure to adhere to these guidelines, will result in removal and the ability to attend any remaining home event during the spring.
- Elmhurst University and the department of athletics reserve the right to amend their attendance policy without prior notice.
