CAROL STREAM, Ill. – Paul Fomby homered twice and drove in six runs to help lead the Elmhurst University baseball team to a 14-4 win over Wheaton College.

Elmhurst started the scoring early as Trey Romay and Fomby hit back-to-back solo homers with two outs in the top of the first. Wheaton took advantage of an Elmhurst error to score twice in the bottom of the first, but the Bluejays reclaimed the lead for good in the top of the second on a Kevin Johlie RBI single.

Fomby blasted his second homer of the game, a two-run shot, in the third to put Elmhurst up 5-2. Wheaton grabbed a run in the bottom of the third to close to within two, but Elmhurst responded with three runs in the fourth. Tyler Kledzik singled home a run and Fomby was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to force in another run. A Wheaton error accounted for the Bluejays' final tally of the inning.
