GREENCASTLE, IN.- The Elmhurst men's lacrosse team picked up its second-straight win over DePauw 11-7 on the road.

In the first quarter the Bluejays' offense capitalized on 2-of-12 shots. Nate Yuhas scored on his first shot attempt of the day. The Tigers took a one-goal lead with two minutes left in the quarter but Ben Luke answered not even a minute later to tie the game at 2-2. After an unassisted goal from Andrew Frerich, Luke added his second with 3:24 left in the first half. The Tigers answered to make it a one-goal game headed into the locker room (4-3).
Frerich finished a pass from Blake Dickson eight minutes into the third quarter to give the Bluejays a two-goal lead. Will Roberts shot and scored a goal with four seconds left in the quarter to cut Elmhurst's lead down to one. Yuhas won the ensuing faceoff, shot the ball from 15 yards away from the cage, and scored with no time left on the clock, giving Elmhurst a two-goal lead. Andrew Lentz caught a step-down pass in transition and scored in the first minute of the fourth quarter to start a Elmhurst 4-0 run. Cullen Nordeman led the Bluejay offense in the fourth quarter, recording a hat trick and assisting Frerich on his third of the day as well. Elmhurst had some late penalties in the fourth quarter resulting in two man-up goals for DePauw, but the Bluejays still limited the Tigers to only 21 shots on goal.
Nordeman and Frerich combined for eight points, scoring three goals each. Ben Luke had two goals while four Bluejays each had one assist. Elmhurst finished 44 percent of their shots that were on goal and totaled 44 shots on the night. Jacob Delgado led the Bluejays defense, making multiple doorstep saves, finishing with 14 on the night. Braden King had a solid night, winning 53 percent of his faceoff attempts.
The Tigers were led by Quinn Roddy's two goals and one assist. Jack Richey added two goals of his own while Will Roberts recorded five points on the night. DePauw finished 33 percent of their shots on goal and totaled 32 on the night. Patrick Lawton totaled 14 saves for the Tigers.
