The Details

• The Hornets controlled the game from the beginning, winning 12 draw controls and scoring 13 goals in the first half.
• Turnovers hurt the Bluejays, as they were unable to generate multiple shot opportunities.
• Kalamazoo scored seven goals off of ten shots in the second half.
• Elmhurst came close to scoring with five minutes left when Larissa Arvanites' shot went off the crossbar.
• The Hornets cleared at 100 percent and held the Bluejays to a clearing percentage of 27 percent on the afternoon.
