The Elmhurst women's soccer team fell to Wheaton 4-0 in its first conference match of the season.

The Details:

• Wheaton struck first, scoring in the seventh minute of the match, when Tori Seeland netted a goal from Sara Bakke to give the Thunder an early 1-0 lead.
• The Thunders' Sophia Lindquist scored in the 23rd minute when she collected a pass from Aeva Graber.
• Within the next minute, Graber scored off a pass from Bailey Wolf to put the Thunder up 3-0.
• Later in the 71st minute of the match, Molly Thorne tacked on an insurance goal to make it 4-0.
• The Bluejays' were unable to find the back of the net as they totaled nice shot opportunities while the Thunder totaled 29 shots.
• Sophia Tuliglowski had 11 saves for the Bluejays' while Wheatons' Lauren Ketchum and Madison Lee combined for four saves total.
