The Elmhurst women's soccer team picked up its sixth win of the season, defeating Benedictine 2-0 at Langhorst Field.

The Details:

• In the 31st minute of the match, Valentina Poggi slid a pass to Lauryn Wesoloski who struck from the outside and placed the ball in the top right corner of the net to give the Bluejays' the lead 1-0.
• At halftime Sophia Tuliglowski had two saves for Elmhurst while Cassidy Henson totaled one the first half. The Bluejays were up 1-0 at halftime.
• In the 56th minute of the match, Gabby Ketola chased down a long pass in the middle of the field from Libby Hercules and netted the Bluejays' second goal of the match, making it 2-0.
• The Elmhurst defense held strong for the remainder of the match only allowing four shots on the day for the Eagles. The Bluejay offense generated 17 shot opportunities total in the game.
• Tuliglowski and Henson each had three total saves on the day in the 2-0 Elmhurst win over Benedictine.
