The Elmhurst women's soccer team picked up its fifth straight win with a 6-0 shutout win over Eureka.

The Details:

• Early in the second minute of the match MJ Lessila headed in a corner kick from Lauryn Wesoloski to give Elmhurst a quick lead.
• In the eighth minute, Brooke Janeczek scored to put the Bluejays up 2-0.
• Wesoloski netted her first goal on the season in the 23rd minute of the match to add to the Bluejays' lead, making it 3-0.
• Wesoloski had her second assist on the day when Hayley Parr scored in the 26th minute of the game.
• Hannah Bacon converted a penalty kick opportunity just a minute later to put the Bluejays up 5-0.
• At halftime Abby Swope had nine saves for Eureka while neither of the Bluejay goalkeepers faced a shot.
• Late in the 84th minute of the game Jasmine Bandyk scored her first goal of the season when she tacked on an insurance goal from Sharon Lopez to cap off the game 6-0.
• The Eureka goalkeepers totaled 17 saves on the day while the Bluejay goalkeepers did not see a shot on goal the entire match.
