The Elmhurst men's soccer team picked up its second straight win, shutting out Illinois College 4-0.

The Details:

• Keegan Thompson struck first in the 17th minute of the match when he finished an assist from James Serrano to give the Bluejays' a 1-0 lead.
• Thompson finished a penalty kick in the 22nd minute to add to the early lead.
• At the end of the half the Bluejays had 14 shot opportunities and held a 2-0 lead.
• In the 74th minute of the match Eric Berezne scored his first goal of the season to tack on to the Bluejay lead.
• With only six minutes left in the game Buddy Nelson finished an insurance goal to cap off the Bluejay win, 4-0.
• The Bluejays' offense totaled 29 shot opportunities, while their defense only allowed two shots on the day as Donnie Kvien earned his second shutout of the week.
