ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst women's tennis team closed out the 2018-19 season with a 5-4 win over Grace College. 

Elmhurst took two of three doubles contests and split the six singles contests to earn the victory.

In doubles action, Rachel Rettger and Kathryn Wheeler toppled Jayna Armstrong and Molly Fitzpatrick 8-6 at No. 2 doubles. Bridget Lopez and Pamela Kobeszko earned a win by forfeit at No. 3 doubles. 

In singles play, Rettger toppled Fitzpatrick 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4 while Wheeler downed Shelby Bankson 6-2, 6-1 at No. 5. Lopez earned a forfeit win at No. 6 singles. 

Elmhurst closed out the season with a 9-6 overall record.
