ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Elmhurst women's lacrosse team closed the book on its 2019 season with an 18-0 road loss at Augustana College.
 
Augustana (6-10, 2-5 CCIW) scored 15 goals in the opening half while outshooting the Bluejays 17-1. The Vikings tacked on three in the final 30 minutes to pull away for the 18-goal victory.

Augustana outshot Elmhurst 24-2 in the contest and held a 26-18 edge in groundballs.
 
Marie Corpuz recorded two saves in goal for the Bluejays.
 
Christina McCabe powered Augustana with five goals while Kathryn Hettiger and Emily Lucnik added three goals apiece for the Vikings.
 
Elmhurst finished the season with a 1-13 overall record (0-7 CCIW).
