ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The Elmhurst men's tennis team slid to 5-11 on the season following an 8-0 loss to Augustana College, the top-ranked team in the region.

Chris Wallace at No. 2 doubles. Justin Cassens and Leonardo Panosso earned a win by default at No. 3.Â
In singles play, No. 1 singles was not finished but the Vikings scored wins at No. 2- No.6. Rodrigo Medeiros downed Sabaricos 6-2, 7-5 at No. 2. ALex Riddle followed with a 6-4, 2-6, 10-8 win over O'Connell at No. 3 while Kyle Boudreau defeated Wallace 6-3, 6-3 at No. 4. Cassens blanked
Tavious Imperial 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 and Ryan Sullivan won by default at No.6Â
Elmhurst closes out its regular by traveling to Carroll University on Saturday, April 27.Â
