ELMHURST, Ill. - Elmhurst's doubles pairing of David Demoll and Shawn Sabaricos combined for the Bluejay men's tennis team only point in an 8-1 loss to Carthage College.

Demoll and Sabaricos picked up Elmhurst's only point with an 8-6 win over Carthage's Tripp Schulte and Andre Antreassian at No. 1 doubles. Carthage (14-8, 3-4 CCIW) won the final two doubles matches as Daniel Moore and Matt Krzewinski stopped Grant O'Connell and Lance Maharry 8-2 at No. 2 and John Nykyforuk and Fordy Leipold blanked Elmhurst's Chris Wallace and Tavious Imperial 8-0 at No. 3 doubles. 

In singles play, Moore stopped Demoll 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 while Schulte defeated Sabaricos 6-2, 7-5 at No. 2. Antreassian downed O'Connell 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 while Nykyforuk won by default at No. 4. Krzewinski defeated Wallace 6-1, 6-4 at No. 5 and Leipold stopped Imperial 6-4, 6-1 at No. 6.
